We have been fortunate enough to have investigated The Wolfe Manor several times now, (Thanks to Amy Bruni and Britt Griffith of Beyond Reality Events) and it has never failed to impress us with the EVP we are able to record there along with many other unexplained occurrences. The Wolfe Manor is a very intense location in that you have much more than just the spirits of patients within it’s walls.
     The first time we stepped foot in The Wolfe was approximately 4:00pm, and it took less than 15 min. for our 1st paranormal experience to take place. Mark & I wandered up to the second floor where there was a curtain separating a room they consider "Georges", from the hallway. I clearly saw someone walk by the curtain from inside the room. I thought I had been introduced to all of about 6 people in The Wolfe at the time, so I was curious as to who this person was. The man was walking from the left to right. I did not take my eyes off the curtain waiting to see who was coming out. When no one did, I entered the room. It was EMPTY. The room had plenty of windows but no exit in the direction I had seen this man walk. 
I cannot express how REAL this apparition looked. Although, I could not see the face behind the curtain, I could clearly see the chest & legs of what appeared to be an older man I'd say in his late 60's, polyester pants dark in color. (Not dressed as an orderly nor a patient) He just strolled past like an elderly man going to get the paper at the corner store...
Now, keep in mind I have only been in the Wolfe about 15 minutes & it was still daylight!
     Alright, it’s my belief that there are non human beings, (elementals, etc.) call them what you want but I can tell you first hand The Wolfe has them! They have become so popular at The Wolfe that they have even been coined with their own name,"Man Babies" Terry Campbell actually caught one on video. We have been to the Wolfe enough times so that I’ve had enough glimpses of them to realize that they are not what they try pass themselves off to be, which, is children! When you only get a quick look at them, once, that is exactly what they appear to be. They appear to be the size of a child, act like a child, but they don't seem to ever be wearing cloths. The dead giveaway for me was that they appear to look a little "stretched" for lack of a better description. They are beige and at times I've referred to them as looking like they were made of silly putty. I witnessed one for the first time in the basement. There are times when we record that we will get really drained physically as though they are using our energy to communicate. This has happened to Mark and I on quite a few occasions. On this night, I in no way should have been as exhausted as I felt. On this occasion were recording in, you guessed it the basement. I had to force myself to open my eyes like when you are nodding off behind the wheel. As I did I saw what appeared to be a child directly in front of me on bended knee, reaching one hand toward me. There were also shadow people in the room & I could clearly see the difference. For me to see a child or any spirit not dressed is VERY unusual. This raised a red flag with me but I did think it was a child since the body was the size of a child, in proportion and we had been offering them toys all along. I have also seen these "Man Babies" on the 1st floor behind the utility closet door peeking through the crack while the door was open. Also, in the sunroom kneeling on the side of the bed & in the attic crawlspace hunched right behind Mark as we recorded. These other sightings of them, is what made me realize that they are not children.
     This is the only place I have ever seen this type of "critter" but the impression I get with them is that they are beings that feed off our emotions. We know that at least some of the patients hospitalized there were suffering from some sort of mental illness and that mental illness was emotional "food" for them, if you will. When I explained these thoughts to Mark, he said, at least to him that it would make sense. With it being no different than the term “Misery loves company” in this dimension. The misery is, in part, what sustains some people. I don't know if they are good or evil but I do know this is the only location to date I have ever experienced them. I also want to point out that we believe that there are so very many dimensions out there that ghosts are merely scratching the surface of what’s actually out there. Not necessarily bad but just different. Through EVP we realize that the spirits don't like the "Man babies." Some even told us through EVP that they hate them. What I find interesting is that they respond to the questions & seem to know who the "Man babies" are when we refer to them.
    The next really interesting occurrence was when we were in the kitchen recording. We were sitting facing the parlor. Many times we saw shadow people coming in from the parlor. Well at one point, I watched what appeared to be a cat come in the room behind some people. When I mentioned that I saw an animal some one in the group asked what kind. Just when I looked & tried to describe the cat, it began morphing into a pig. Now, the story gets better... a few hours later we were in the sunroom and someone came into the sunroom announcing that a sensitive Tomy Durant noticed a cat/pig upstairs. Well, we had not been up stairs at that time nor did we even know Tomy back then. Well that was validation enough for me!
     Disembodied Voices and sounds, Oh Yeah! At one point Mark and I were on the 2nd floor landing, when all of a sudden we both heard what sounded like a Music Box playing when there was none present. Then on one visit we were in the basement and apparently some one did not yell flash while taking a photo. Well, you heard a woman yell, F#ck You! So loud and clear that Mark and I swore it was actually someone it the group that was with us. We shined our flashlights to the corner where we heard it & there was an elderly couple sitting. Even if it were them the voice sounded like that of a younger woman. Several minutes went by & no one in the group said anything so I asked if anyone else heard it and everyone said they did!
What's interesting is that this was the same room Jay & Grant of Ghost Hunters heard the disembodied voice, saying something I believe about liking Jay.
     Now to the EVP, which here there seems to be an abundance of. Some of the best we recorded are included in this investigation recap. Be sure to check them out, because unlike most EVP, we recorded some full sentences which are not common. Most of the EVP was collected in the basement. We did spend most of our time there as this is where we were stationed. Funny how no matter where we go we always seem to end up in the basement. Oh well. As you will hear it turned out for the best!!
     A few of our favorite spots are The 5 minute room off the kitchen, the kitchen itself, the attic, Mary's room and last but not least the parlor.
