NOTES

We have investigated Alcatraz three times (2007, 2008, and 2009). Each visit has yeilded some great evidence. We had a great time with all the guests and look forward to going back again.

VOICE MANIPULATION EVP

This is a very rare type of EVP. It happens when spirit is able to manipulate or transform what someone living actually says into the message they are bringing forth. It’s an amazing type of EVP because you hear your own voice saying something you never said. This is one of the reasons why, when you record you want more than one recorder being used during your recording sessions. A good high quality one at that. Luckily for us there were four recorders going during this session.

File #51 is a prime example of a Voice Manipulation EVP. The original file is #159. Listen to that one first so you can hear what the actual conversation sounded like. Then, listen to file #51 to hear how the spirit manipulated it.

EVP

Alcatraz EVP: This EVP was recorded in the Morgue (pictures 20 & 21 from the bottom in the list above). Debby was picking up on entities coming though the wall into the Morgue. In this clip Debby says “Coming through the wall” The EVP that followed is... "I am coming."		Alcatraz EVP: This EVP goes to show you that there are times when no matter how respectful you try to be, they are not interested in returning the favor. This EVP is from The Morgue. In this clip I say “Thank you very much for speaking to us” then Debby says “We appreciate it” The EVP response is... "You Suck."

Alcatraz EVP: This EVP was recorded In The Birdman’s Cell (picture 3rd from bottom in the list above). It’s located inside The Infirmary. Debby asks, “What were your coping mechanisms, how did you deal with it?” The EVP response was... "I wanted to die."		Alcatraz EVP: This EVP was captured in The Killing Room. Mark asks the question, “We’re wondering if there’s anybody here that would like to speak to us?” The EVP response was... "For what you want."
